Seeking Wise Counsel

This morning, I was reminded that the Lord's words scorch. They are meant to refine and seldom leave us unscathed. We must be careful in seeking counsel from others whose words only leave us feeling comfortable all the time.

When seeking Godly counsel, here are a few questions to ask: 

Has this person stood in the council of the Lord? Seen Him? Heard his word? Listened and obeyed? These few are the ones to follow.
