Unsung courage

Just came home from watching "The Help." Racism is so devastating . My heart swirled in recalling some of the things that African Americans had to go through in the past. Unfortunately, it still runs on today, and I hear that there's large parts of the South in which blacks are still not tolerated as well as other minorities. Just thankful for my freedom tonight, and so relieved that a man once "had a dream." Unsung heroes created those secret stories which may not be heard today; yet they've built our history. I wonder what America would be like without those fine people.
